NELC Home Options Team – Aged 18+
Gives free, confidential and impartial advice and assistance to residents who have housing needs. The main aim is to reduce and prevent homelessness whilst making sure that the home is suitable and the tenancy can be managed.

Doorstep – Ages 16 to 25 and Families
Provides temporary accommodation to young people and families in N E Lincolnshire who are aged 16 - 25 years or who may be at risk of becoming homeless.
Emergency food parcels can be supplied.

Accommodation provided: Shared houses for single people, self contained flats suitable for single people or couples, Specially equipt shared property for young mums, two and three bedroom houses for young families.
Support workers are available to help you move into your new home, and continue the support through your tenancy. they can help with things such as:
Furnishing your home, setting up housing benefit, setting up rent account and payments, setting up utilities, learning how to use household appliances. Other support available: Dealing with bills letters forms etc., looking after your home, managing your finances, developing domestic skills like cooking cleaning etc., exploring work or training opportunities, support with emotional/personal issues.

Help and support for people who are experiencing extreme housing difficulty or are under threat of homelessness.

Offers a limited guarantee to local landlords to help people to secure private rented accommodation. If you are unable to find a bond and a months rent in advance to gain access to rented accommodation they will aim to find you a home, provided:
• You have lived in North East Lincolnshire for at least 6 out of the last 12 months, or 2 years out of the last 5 years
• Are normally in receipt of state benefits
• Are not a current tenant of a Registered Social Provider e.g. Shoreline, L&H Homes
• Over the age of 25 unless with children
If you fall outside the above criteria, they may still be able to help, but if you explain your circumstances to us, then they can advise.

YPSS (Young Peoples Support Service) for 16-19 year olds
YPSS offer advice & guidance on apprenticeships, education, work, CV's, benefits, including completing claim forms, housing options, youth offending, youth centers, youth projects and health related services. Accessible to clients aged up to 25 if they have a learning disability.
