Operates within the law set by Parliament and under the rules and directions of the family courts to safeguard and promote the welfare of children/give advice to the family courts/make provision for children to be represented/provide information, advice and support to children and their families.

Provide free legal information, advice and representation to children, young people, their families, carers and professionals, as well as training and consultancy on child law and children’s rights.

Probate Office – Lincoln Sub-Registry
The right to deal with someone's estate is called Probate. A Grant of Probate is an order of the court giving one or more people the legal authority to administer the estate of the deceased in order to distribute it correctly to the beneficiaries.
There are two main types
(1) Grant of Probate, where there is a Will
(2) Letters of Administration, where there is no Will.
